A description of the event: I work for the Girls Scouts and am interested in
planning a Women In Aviation event overnight in St. Cloud. I have been
working with St. Cloud State University Aviation Department, and would like to
also connect with Girls with Wings to further enrich the program. The age of
the girls attending would be 6th grade through 12th grade, ages 11-18.

Title: Women in Aviation Day featuring a Girls With Wings representative
training event and public presentations

A description of the event: This will be the second of many opportunities to
join another of the Girls With Wings Clubs being formed now around the
country to train representatives to promote the Girls With Wings mission.

Title: Women in Aviation Day
Location: Nashua, NH
A description of the event: Women that have registered for the Ace Camp
Overnight can also register to join us a day early for Women in Aviation Day, a
special day devoted exclusively to "Women in Aviation."
Here's just a sampling of what we have planned for this special weekend:
* Meet with members of the 99's, the international organization for "Women
Who Love to Fly!".
* Enter a drawing for the opportunity to win a flight in a specialized aircraft.
* Meet with current women pilots and talk to them to learn about the broad
range of career options available to you today!

Register: ACE (overnight) Camp is open to any student entering his or her
junior or senior year in high school who has an interest in a career in aviation.

Title: Fly Girls Camp
Location: Sheboygan, WI
A description of the event: This event, co-sponsored through grants from
the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the Wisconsin Space Grant
Consortium, provides a whole day of aviation experiences for young women,
ages 13-17. The day is capped with a Young Eagles flight for each
participant. Cost of this camp is only $10! Registration is limited to the first
30 received!

A description of the event: FREE Admission and Parking
The American Heroes Air Show is the nation’s premier, helicopter– only,
admission-free aviation event designed to profile helicopters’ dynamic role in
law enforcement, public safety, communications, and search and rescue, as
well as homeland security and national defense. The event features static
displays and information from flight crews.
Helicopters! Come see helicopters and meet flight crews from U.S. Army, U.S.
Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Snohomish County Sheriff, King County Sheriff, local
media, Airlift Northwest, Helicopters Northwest, Classic Helicopter Corporation
and many more.
Helicopter Rides! Get a bird’s eye view of the action with helicopter rides
offered all day.
CODE3 Career Fair – Learn how you can be part of the action - meet recruiting
teams with career information from law enforcement, fire service, the military
