Wings. ATC's responsibility in the aviation world is to ensure safety,
organize and expedite the flow of traffic, and to provide information and
other support for pilots. The ability to offer these services for our Girls With
Wings is $50 per year - and every cent of this payment will go directly
For your convenience, all Memberships will renew automatically.
We use aviation to entertain and educate girls about their limitless opportunities for personal growth.

Samantha: Right now I
feel like the Flight Plan
supports me. I am VERY
new to aviation. Although
I've wanted to be a pilot
since I was 14, I am just
now realizing my dream. I
applied today to a
aviation degree program
and sound Girls With
Wings while I was
researching scholarships.
I think your program is
great and would love to
return the support as a
volunteer someday if
you'd have me.
Corrie: This is truly an
amazing site. I am a
freshman at SIUC in the
aviation program. It is so
exciting to see how much
support there is for girls
to follow their dreams
wherever they may take
them! I fully support and
will do whatever I can to
help continue to keep
girls reaching for the
stars!

Note: we are currently experiencing a glut of erroneous sign-ups from people
around the world not really interested in the Girls With Wings mission (focusing
too much on the "girls" I think, and getting the wrong idea). I do not respond
to these suspicious submissions and find it truly distressing that I find myself
having to "weed out" non supporters. I try to send a confirmation email to
those applicants with whom there is any questions. If you don't receive your
membership card, and you are a legitimate registrant, please email me.

to the scholarship fund. You will be specifically
recognized in conjunction with the annual scholarship
award detailed here. In addition, you will receive a
letter of appreciation, newsletter registration AND
10% discount in the GWW online store. You will also
receive a free Girls With Wings license plate frame!
Sign up below and you will see a subscribe button to

A little anecdote, shared with us by Sheila: My daughter, who is so proud to be a Girls With Wings member (she has told everyone and
showed everyone her luggage tag), was acting up the other day and I was nearing the end of my patience. I blurted out "Daniela, Girls
With Wings do not act that way-they are good girls!" And she started walking around the house saying loudly, "Girls With Wings do not
whine, Girls With Wings do not shout at their mommies", etc., saying everything I had been correcting her for! It has worked like a
charm since-I just bring up that she's a GWW and she changes her behavior! What a great side benefit to the membership!
