Title: Space Station Science Day
Location: NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland Airport
Description: Travel to the NASA Glenn Research Center where you will blast
off on an imaginary adventure to the International Space Station! As a crew
member, conduct scientific experiments and activities while you learn about
our solar system, rocketry and more. Meet an aircraft pilot and discover how
to become a real astronaut. $8 per girl, 25 min./100 max., register February 8
through March 12, 2010. Fee includes program supplies and a patch. All
participants must be a U.S. citizen.
Volunteers needed: Help is needed for Brownie (9:00-noon) and Junior
(1:00-4:00 p.m.) Girl Scouts! Registration for girls is through
www.gsneo.org, but please know that the event is already filled or nearly filled.
Adult women in aviation volunteers needed.

Title: Girls With Wings: Aviation Inspiration
Location: Ravenna Girl Scouts
Description: Girls With Wings will give a fun, interactive lesson on how to fly
a plane and reach for the stars. Founder Lynda Meeks will use aviation to
entertain and educate girls about their limitless opportunities for personal
growth. Adult women in aviation volunteers needed.
